Figure: MY DRESS-UP DARLING - Marin Kitagawa - Figure Glitter & Glamours 24cm

This Banpresto figurine from the Glitter & Glamours collection depicts Marin Kitagawa, the heroine of *Sexy Cosplay Doll / My Dress-Up Darling*, in her winter school uniform. Standing approximately 24 cm tall, this Winter Uniform Ver. offers a more everyday portrayal of the character, a far cry from her many cosplay costumes, whilst retaining Marin’s characteristic energy and expressiveness.

Marin is depicted in a dynamic pose suggesting she is running or making a spontaneous movement, with her upper body leaning slightly forwards and her arms outstretched. Her broad smile reinforces the sense of lightness in the scene. Her long hair is sculpted to look as though it is in motion, with several strands and plaits swept back, naturally complementing the direction of her pose.

Her outfit consists of a winter-appropriate ensemble, comprising a blazer, a warm top with deliberately long sleeves, a pleated skirt and a large scarf flowing behind her. Her legs are complemented by long, loosely draped socks and shoes suited to this winter outfit. The attention to detail in the folds of the clothing, the scarf and the hair brings movement to a composition that is, nevertheless, intended for a static exhibition.
